Southwold, a small seaside town on the Suffolk coast, could be aptly described as the bench capital of the UK. If you are interested in benches at all it is a place you must visit.
How to get there:
Southwold is on the east coast of Suffolk, about 10 miles south of Lowestoft. To get there, take the A12 south from Lowestoft and then the A1095 into Southwold.

Southwold is a charming and quaint seaside town with many tea shops and other amenities.
Access: Good access for disabled users as there are many flat and well laid out paths. An amazing selection of benches to try out - you are spoilt for choice.
Unusual features or other information: Over the years, many benches in Southwold have been dedicated by family members or friends to commemorate their loved ones.
