Benches on the Malvern Hills, Worcestershire - ref. VFB_0078
Some great bench views from the Malvern Hills - for more views click here.
How to get there: Great Malvern is situated about 8 miles south west of the city of Worcester, quite close to the M5 junction 7. From Worcester, take the A449 south which brings you directly to Great Malvern and close to the foothills of the Malvern Hills. Follow the A449 south and then bear right onto the B4218 towards Lower Wyche. Shortly after going through the Wyche cutting, the road bends to the right and then take a right turn to the car parks. From here follow the footpath which leads up onto the hills towards the Worcestershire Beacon and the highest point on the hills. Locate the car parks on a detailed map here
Amenities: There is a very nice tea shop at St. Ann's Well which is north of the beacon, following the path down towards Great Malvern.
Access: The footpath up to the beacon is good although quite steep.
Unusual features or other information: Very striking range of hills with amazing views in each direction.
