'This bench has been very good to me, last year recovering from surgery meant I spent a lot of time on it (when it wasn't raining) and enjoyed the discipline of being still and noticing details in the flowers, butterflies and bees etc. - learning to live in the moment. I think this is important anyway but becomes especially so when the future seems uncertain.'
