How to get there:
Lindisfarne is located just off the Northumberland coast about 15 miles south of Berwick-on-Tweed, which is the on the border between England and Scotland. Locate Holy Island on detailed map

Amenities: Several good tea shops and restaurants located in the village.
Access: Good access in the village although some of the paths around the island are quite rough and not suitable for disabled people or children in pushchairs.
Unusual features or other information: Very beautiful and unspoilt location which is great for walking, wildlife spotting and relaxing. There is a road causeway providing access from the mainland, it is important to check safe crossing times as the causeway is flooded at high tide.
