View from Iona (Scotland) - ref. VFB_0049
Great view from the Argyll Hotel, Baile Mor on Iona. Looking out across the garden (with bench) across the sound towards Mull.
How to get there:
Iona is a very small island and the only way onto the island is via ferry from Fionnphort, Mull. Also it's a ferry ride from the mainland to Mull, either from Oban or from Lochaline. There's only one town on Iona, Baile Mor and it's so small you'll have no trouble locating the Argyll Hotel.
Locate the bench on detailed map here.
Amenities:
There are a number of places to stay on Iona and use as a base from which to explore the beautiful island.
Access: Not known.
Unusual features or other information: Iona is a fascinating place with an amazing Christian heritage. There is a Christian community (the Iona Community) which runs three residential centres on the island. The Abbey is a great place to visit with tremendous history.
