How to get there:
Inchmahome is a small island on Lake Menteith, which is 10 miles west of Stirling on the A81. From Stirling, take the A84, then the A873 which takes you to Port of Menteith which is on the edge of the lake. There is a small ferry which takes passengers to the island.

Unusual features or other information: On the island is the Priory of Inchmahome, which was founded in 1238. Lake Menteith is the only 'lake' in Scotland, all the rest are 'lochs'.
