Benches at Ham Hill, Somerset - ref. VFB_0005
Very uncomfortable iron benches, but with great views over Somerset levels and surrounding villages to North and West of Ham Hill.
How to get there:
From Yeovil, take the A30 towards Crewkerne. Just as you leave Yeovil, at the Yeovil Court Hotel take the right fork signposted Odcombe and Stoke sub Hamdon. Follow this road for about 5 miles through Odcombe until you come to Ham Hill. There is car-parking just off the road. Locate bench on detailed map

Amenities: Nearby pub (Prince of Wales) and often an ice cream van parked at viewing point.
Access: Good access, car parking nearby and good for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Unusual features or other information: Working quarry from which ham stone building material is still taken.
