Picnic bench at Meldon Reservoir, Devon - ref. VFB_0006



A basic wooden picnic bench situated at the edge of Meldon Reservoir, with views towards the Dartmoor National Park. There is a walk around the edge of the reservoir which is quite rough going at times - approximately 3 miles around.

How to get there: From Okehampton, take the B3260 out of the town towards the west. The road goes over the main A30 trunk road and then takes you to Meldon Reservoir. There is car parking near the reservoir with an information centre.

Access: Good access to viewing point but the walk around the reservoir is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs
