How to get there:
Woolacombe is seaside town in North Devon, which boasts some of the best surfing beaches on the North Devon coastline. The main surfing bay, which faces the Atlantic Ocean has about 3 miles of flat, golden sands. Woolacombe is just a few miles north west of Barnstaple. To get there, take the A361 (north) out of Barnstaple and then turn left onto the B3343 at Mullacott Cross. This takes you straight to the town centre and beach. From the main promenade, walk northwards towards Barricane Beach and the bench is found at the end of a rocky outcrop just to the right of a white hut. Locate bench on detailed map
