St. Michael's Mount, Cornwall - ref. VFB_0068
How to get there: Marazion is a small town set on the shores of Mount's Bay in South West Cornwall, just one mile east of Penzance. It is the gateway to the beautiful and historic St. Michael's Mount which is accessed by a tidal causeway which was once walked by pilgrims in honour of the alleged appearance of St. Michael. In 1954 the owners of St. Michael's Mount, the Aubyn family went into partnership with the National Trust which enabled the castle and grounds to be opened to the public.
