How to get there:
Wembury is a small village situated in the South Hams district of Devon, between the estuary of the river Yealm and Plymouth sound.
Wembury is about 6 miles east of Plymouth. From the A38, take the A379 eastwards through the villages of Pomphlett and Elburton. From Elburton take the narrow lanes through the villages of Goosewell and Knighton before coming to Wembury (about 2 miles from Elburton). There is a car park near the church.

Unusual features or other information: The view from the church yard shows the Great Mey Stone rock in the bay in the distance. The church is dedicated to St. Werburgh, the neice of the Saxon king Ethelred and has evidence of its 15th century features. Within the church are several monuments, including one dated 1677 to the family of Calmady.
