Unusual benches placed around the walled section of Berwick-on-Tweed overlooking the estuary. Benches are built quite high up with several steps so that there is a good view over the fortifications - well thought out.
How to get there:
Berwick-on-Tweed is on the north east coast of England very close to the Scottish border at the mouth of the River Tweed. The benches are located in the walled section near to the museum and ramparts close to the centre of the town. Locate benches on detailed map

Amenities: Nothing very near the benches, but lots of tea shops etc. within Berwick itself.
Access: Good access with walks around walled section of Berwick-on-Tweed. Suitable for disabled users.
Unusual features or other information: Very ornate benches, built up high with steps so that you can enjoy the view over the walls.
