Campsie Glen, East Dunbartonshire - ref. VFB_0033
A series of unusual benches located within Campsie Glen which is a beauty spot near Lennoxtown. Some of the benches have great views overlooking the valley.
How to get there:
Campsie Glen is located about 10 miles north of Glasgow. Take the A803 from Glasgow to Kirkintilloch and then take the A891 through Lennoxtown and on to the village called Clachan of Campsie. Parking is possible in the village and the walk up Campsie Glen starts just behind the Aldessan Gallery. Locate Campsie Glen on detailed map

Amenities: Tea/coffee shop in Clachan of Campsie near the Aldessan Gallery.
Access: Steep and uneven path up through the wooded valley which requires some care. There is a car park further up the hill with good access and views.
Unusual features or other information: Interesting set of 'single' benches that look like three crosses when viewed from behind.
