Some interesting views of the Forth road and rail bridges from South Queensferry.
How to get there:
South Queensferry is about 8 miles north west of the centre of Edinburgh, on the banks of the Firth of Forth. From Edinburgh take the A90 and then the B924 into South Queensferry. From here you get a good view of both the old railway bridge and the much newer road bridge.

Unusual features or other information: The Forth railway bridge, the world's first major steel bridge with it's gigantic spans of 521m ranks as one of the great feats of civilisation. It was started in 1883 and completed in 1890.
