Nick's bench - St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly- ref. VFB_0015



A bench dedicated to the memory of Lionel Nichols, 1919 to 1989 (Nick). He lived in Yeovil, Somerset for a number of years and gave his life to serving God in many ways but especially in working with young people through the Christian organisation called 'Crusaders'. The motto 'Wholehearted for God' carved on the bench is a good summary of his life.

How to get there: The bench overlooks Pelistry Bay, St. Mary's and is on the coastal path, down a footpath from a restaurant and tea shop. Locate the bench on detailed map here

Amenities: Not far from the tea shop and restaurant - great cakes available.

Access: Good access from the tea shop via the footpath.
