Giant's Chair, Natsworthy, Devon - ref. VFB_0076
How to get there:
This sculpture is tucked away in the Dartmoor National Park, about 3 miles south of Moretonhampstead and not far from the picturesque village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor. From the north, take the M5 to Exeter and then the A38 towards Plymouth. Take the A382 northwards to Bovey Tracey and then the B3387 towards Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Before getting to Widecombe head north towards Hound Tor and park in the car park at the foot of the Tor. From here, walk back along the road towards the village of Manaton and go through gate near Jay's Grave. The Giant's Chair is approximately 1/2 mile along on the left set up high.

Amenities: Refreshment van in car park, or tea/coffee shops in Widecombe-in-the-Moor.
Access: The footpath to the Giant's Chair is a bit rough but not too bad.
Unusual features or other information: There has been some controversy over the siteing of the sculpture - something about needing planning permission !!
